Ventilation Systems

Healthier homes through better ventilation
Dry ridge ventilation fitted under the ridge tiles of a tiled roof

Managing airflow and moisture is essential for building durability, comfort and long-term performance.

Warm, moist air rises from the living spaces below and collects in the roof space. Without a way out, that moisture can condense on cold surfaces, settle into insulation and timber, and show up later as mould or ceiling stains.

TZO ventilation systems give that air a path out. They are part of the same building performance approach behind our windows and doors, where the building envelope works as a whole.

TZO ventilation solutions include:

  • Dry Ridge Ventilation Systems
  • Eave Ventilation Systems
  • Side Ventilation Systems

Dry Ridge Ventilation Systems

A ventilated roll fitted along the ridge, under the ridge tiles. It releases warm, moisture-laden air at the highest point of the roof, where it naturally collects.

As a dry fix system, the ridge is secured mechanically instead of being bedded in mortar.

Eave Ventilation Systems

An eave comb fitted at the roof edge, under the first row of tiles. It lets air into the roof space at its lowest point, so it can move up and out through the ridge.

Eave and ridge ventilation work together to keep air moving through the whole roof space.

Side Ventilation Systems

Perforated ventilation profiles for walls and facades, which keep air moving through ventilated cavities.

Why ventilation matters

  • Release warm, moisture-laden air
  • Reduce roof space moisture build-up
  • Protect roof battens and insulation
  • Reduce the risk of mould and ceiling discolouration
  • Support long-term building performance

Better ventilation. Better building durability. Better indoor environments.
